In summer 2021, we started building our new molecular biology lab at our home in Alfa Laval Innovation House.
With a healthy amount of skepticism, we ordered two container units online to establish state-of-the-art molecular biology research capabilities for our fungal platform. From clicking "order", in less than seven months, we created a fully-functioning molecular biology container lab.
Now, one year later, the containers are fully integrated into our system of fermentation, analytical chemistry, and food science laboratories. It is a space where we work on optimizing production and developing our rainbow of colorants.
